An advertising campaign to promote the services of the Grand Bibliothèque (BAnQ), Québec’s national library and archives.

01. Challenge

The BAnQ wanted to reach a massive audience and convey an enormous amount of information in an interesting and entertaining way. The goal was two-fold: to promote BAnQ’s services and increase the number of subscribers.

02. Strategy

Working in collaboration with BAnQ’s team, we developed a comprehensive two-pronged strategy, a targeted online advertising campaign paired with television advertising that promoted the BAnQ’s services. Our goal was to engage the public in a reassuring way through the use of a compelling visual approach and an accessible tone.

03. Results

The numbers speak for themselves. Following this campaign, the BAnQ observed a 50% increase in subscriptions. Engagement on Facebook jumped 21%. The BAnQ’s web video was viewed more than 70,000, overtaking its second most popular video by a whopping 2,000%.
